 This is Sitaram and Sushma, the authors of the blog.

A little about us...we are working professionals on middleware technologies like IBM Websphere DataPower, IBM Integration Bus, IBM API Connect and also had customized CI/CD concepts covering Docker, Jenkins, OpenShift to automate the workflows.

We are not limited to these middleware technologies and are trying our hands in Cloud space as well. 

So what we bring in here is our experiences in using these technologies, the challenges we faced to do customizations and how we overcome them. We will also walk you thru to implement new configurations/concepts in these.

Configuring monitoring events in IIB

  Hello all, greetings!! I am back with a use case which is frequently asked for monitoring transactions in IIB. I do see my colleagues easily setting up the monitoring events in node level and struggle with no monitored events at the destination. For this use case, I will show a simple flow listening on MQ Input node and MQ Output node. No transformations in between. And I will configure the monitoring events and my destination for these events is again an MQ. For creating a monitoring event, select the node properties. Navigate to ‘Monitoring’ and click ‘Add’ Select the event source (terminal), event source address and event name (can be left default). And you can select specific data from incoming payload to obtain a simple or complex field. For demo purpose, I have included the full payload as bit stream. Process images as multipart/form-data

Hello all, we are back with an interesting post. We had a requirement recently where we have to download an image from an endpoint and then post it to backend as an attachment (image/jpeg) along with the image name as multipart/form-data. The backend is hosted as an OPEN API specification. So far the requirement is clear right..then what are some of the thoughts on this? Our thought process on this: 1) Tools we have   -->   IIB, Datapower 2) Download an image from endpoint     -->    Ok where do we get this endpoint details, do we have any security setups to be done? In which format will it be downloaded?
